Folks, the Tour de Cure will hold their “Training Meeting” (free pizza!?) next Tuesday evening 6-8pm, the 12th, at NWACC’s Shewmaker Center (Rogers campus). Please be there if you can…as we will be making assignments for the August 13th event. No worries if you cannot make this meeting…and sorry for the late notice!

Folks, that time of Summer is again coming up!  The 2016 Tour de Cure will be upon us soon…and we are recruiting amateur operators to ride/drive SAG, resupply vehicles, rest stops, etc.  This year, the Tour de Cure team is acquiring 12 pickup trucks (that’s the plan) to use as SAGs, resupply, etc.
If you are willing to drive one, please let us know so we can coordinate with the Tour committee about how many other drivers (non HAMs) they will need to recruit.
Attached are the docs you need to fill out (Waiver, Volunteer Form) and bring to the ‘final training’ meeting at the Shewmaker center (date and time TBD) or to the Tour event on the morning of the 18th.
We feel sure that this year, the up-front vehicle insurance coverage is understood and will be in effect for all drivers of the loaner pickups. Your comfort level is your guide as to whether you want to drive and operate the radio, or just operate.
Best Regards,
